Alex Dracott, Founder and Creative Director of Ironwood Studios, states as part of the game’s announcement:
We love weird science, stories of on-the-road adventures, and we’ve always been intrigued by the dark, mysterious worlds of games like STALKER or books like Annihilation. In Pacific Drive, we’ve been able to bring these passions together by creating an adventure that takes you deep into the heart of the Pacific Northwest aboard a vintage station wagon that, over time, can become your very own 80s sci-fi dramatically. modified. fi machine to upgrade, explore and risk the dangers of the area with.
