JETT: The Far Shore will get a free campaign expansion next year
JETT: The Far Shore is set to receive a new free campaign expansion in early 2023.
Titled Given Time, the campaign will take place three years after the events of the main game.
Developer Superbrothers A/V’s sci-fi game released a year ago on PlayStation and PC consoles, but if you haven’t played it yet, a demo will be available as part of Steam’s Next Fest at from October 3.
The demo features the game’s prologue, known as 0.Embark.
“We are thrilled to have another JETT campaign to deliver. Given Time will continue and conclude Mei’s story, while progressing and resolving key story threads that were intentionally left undone at the end of The Far Shore,” said co-creator Craig D. Adams of Superbrothers A/V.
“This new campaign is much more free-spirited and player-focused, we’re making the most of our distinct and confusing ecosystem survival systems this time around, but don’t worry, we’re not shy about having a cosmic prog rock show in unexpected places.”
JETT: The Far Shore is a single-player adventure that lets players explore a mythical ocean planet and adapt to a complex open-world system.
The game is a follow up to Superbrother A/V’s previous release, Sword & Sworcery EP.
In his JETT: The Far Shore review, Edwin noted that the game was “not solved in a good way, which I can’t say for the game’s clunky mix of playstyles”. Now, with this new campaign, we should have a stronger resolve after all.
