PlayStation’s Sackboy: A Big Adventure is coming to PC
A PC version of Sackboy: A Big Adventure has been announced by PlayStation Latin America’s YouTube account, apparently ahead of a wider reveal.
According to the video (below), the game will be released on PC on October 27, with pre-orders available today.
Along with the first reveal comes another leak for a PC version of Housemarque’s shooter Returnal.
Return to PC rumors have been around for a while: details were spotted on SteamDB in May, and earlier this month Digital Foundry’s Alex Battaglia spotted PC features at a GDC developer conference.
Now, a video of the game’s menu has been leaked on Icon-Era, including additional visual options supporting Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR. This suggests that Returnal on PC could have considerable visual improvements over the PlayStation 5 version.
The leaked video was extracted by Sony, somewhat legitimizing its authenticity.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure will also have visual improvements over the console version. The trailer says it will have 4K and 120fps options, along with support for 21:9 ultrawide monitors, Nvidia DLSS, and VRR.
Sony is gradually releasing many of its console games on PC, with the recent Spider-Man Remastered being its second biggest launch on the platform.
A release date for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves on PC has just been announced by Naughty Dog: October 19.
