Ranking of Silent Hill game spotted in South Korea
A note for a new Silent Hill game has been spotted in South Korea.
Silent Hill: The Short Message has been rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea, as spotted by Gematsu.
Platforms were not specified, but the publisher is listed as UNIANA, which publishes Konami games in the country – eFootball 2023 was also included in this crop of notes.
It’s unclear exactly what the short message might be, or if it’s related to a series of leaks from the past few months.
Another new screenshot, believed to be taken from a Silent Hill game, was shared by leaker Dusk Golem with Japanese text, as posted on reddit.
Concept art for a Silent Hill game was leaked in May, featuring a woman’s face apparently made out of post-it notes with hurtful phrases written on it. Fans have speculated, through the tongue, that the game could be set in the UK.
There’s also an apparent remake of Silent Hill 2 rumored.
However, YouTuber John Allen was recently revealed to be behind a series of multiple game leaks and admitted to fabricating Silent Hill rumours.
Additionally, Bloober Team is reportedly working on a new Silent Hill game, though it’s unclear what that might be.
News of Silent Hill: The Short Message implies that something concrete may be revealed soon.
