Skull and Bones postponed to March 2023
Ubisoft has once again delayed its long-awaited pirate game Skull and Bones – this time until March 9, 2023.
Originally revealed in 2017, the project’s launch has been pushed back several times – and was most recently due to arrive in November this year.
In a press release this afternoon, Ubisoft said it had made the decision to delay Skull and Bones again following player feedback on its recent testing schedule.
“While development of the game is complete at this point, the additional time will be used to further refine and balance the experience using player feedback from our technical testing and Insider program that has been taking place over the past two weeks. “, wrote Ubisoft.
“This is the right decision both for our players and for the long-term success of the game, as March 9, 2023 provides a fitting release window for this very unique new brand.”
Ubisoft also today confirmed an open beta for the game, to follow “in the near future”.
