Terraria’s Labor of Love update is now live

The Labor of Love update for Terraria is now live and includes a ton of new features and improvements.

This includes a new World Seed that turns the world upside down, with players tackling growing threats until they reach the surface. There is also a World Seed that mixes all the others.

The update is free and includes lots of bug fixes and small improvements, such as tweaks to empty bag, rope interaction, health bars, and more.

The developers posted a thank you message alongside the update.

“Terraria has always been a labor of love to our team – like a close family member or child to each of us,” it reads.

“Over the years, this has all been underpinned by your unwavering support, not only in terms of sales (over 46.1 million to date!), but also in terms of passion and willingness to help make Terraria is more than just a game. Simply put, the Terraria community itself is an integral part of the Terraria experience.”

He continues: “It’s humbling to think that this game – born from such humble beginnings – has brought us all together, as a team and as a community. We truly believe this is the greatest time ever. for Terraria – the game is at its most vibrant and exciting point we can remember.”

The team also notes that “a few surprises” have been implemented in the update for players to experience.

The update is now available on all versions of the game.
