Twitch streamer Mizkif suspended for ‘covering’ alleged assault
As if Twitch wasn’t in the news enough already, the platform is making headlines again, after yesterday’s successful campaign by top broadcasters to ban gambling of the live streaming service. However, instead of money issues, we are dealing with issues of sexual assault and harassment, as figures like Maya and Mizkif have been accused of encouraging the cover-up of a victim’s traumatic experience. abuse. Now, Mizkif faces repercussions.
Content Warning: Descriptions of Sexual Assault
AdrianahLee is a Just Chatting streamer who plays occasionally Minecraft and Valorant. A laid-back content creator, AdrianahLee showed up in June 2021 with a TwitLonger post detailing a disturbing experience she says she had with game broadcaster CrazySlick, at a birthday party in 2020. While allegedly drunk, Adrianah Lee recounted an incident in which CrazySlick followed her, attempted – and allegedly did – to kiss her and touched her “neck and chest” several times to check her pulse after she passed out in one of the rooms.
Although AdrianahLee clarified in the initial post – which she now says was somewhat forced – that CrazySlick did not “rape or assault” her, she noted that her actions “made me feel uncomfortable” all the same. fouslick posted a message on TwitLonger shortly after, apologizing for “making her uncomfortable” and being drunk, but nothing came of it. More recently, the allegations have resurfaced.
Now, Adrianah Lee has taken to Twitch and Twitter to elaborate on the situation, saying TwitLonger’s original post was a “diluted version of the story that has been re-read” by streamer Just Chatting and wildlife conservationist Maya and others. In a two-hour livestream, AdrianahLee said Maya and Mizkif pressured her to say something ASAP so the two of them didn’t have to kick CrazySlick out of the house. (CrazySlick is Mizkif’s best friend and lived with Maya and Mizkif; the latter duo was supposed to be dating when AdrianahLee’s allegations first came to light.) But urging her to speak out prematurely and demanding the approval of his tweets before they went live, Adrianah Lee said Maya and Mizkif helped play down the accusations by making him paint CrazySlick in a more favorable light.

As big-name streamers like Asmongold and Pokimane made statements about rampant Twitch gaming issues yesterday, game broadcaster Trainwreck clapped back in Mizkif, indicating that “Mizkif didn’t assault the women, he orchestrated the cover-ups for his friends” to “cover up all those sexual assaults” against CrazySlick. Simultaneously, old videos and screenshots of Mizkif were discovered, in which he undermined AdrianahLee’s experience– calling it “not really a big deal” – and used a handful of insults in a conversation with a friend against black and LGBTQ+ people.
Additionally, some claim that CrazySlick has a history of similar incidents with other women. AdrianahLee maintains an ongoing Twitter thread to platform women, both named and anonymous, willing to provide information about how CrazySlick assaulted or harassed them.
Maya broke her silence on the situation. In a recent Twitch stream, Maya said that in a conversation she had with AdrianahLee about meeting CrazySlick, AdrianahLee told Maya that he had not raped or sexually assaulted her. Because Maya “didn’t think of it as rape or sexual assault” when it happened, Maya had asked Adrianah Lee to include that detail in the TwitLonger post.
However, Maya now says she recognizes the uneven “power dynamic” between her and Adrianah Lee, given that Maya is a much bigger streamer. So Maya apologized to AdrianahLee, noting that she “felt bad” and “wasn’t trying to force [AdrianahLee] to say something” that would minimize his traumatic experience.
CrazySlick also has responded to allegations of assault, saying in some now-deleted tweets that he ‘has never sexually assaulted anyone and never will’ while claiming he checked AdrianahLee’s pulse through her ‘neck and wrist only’ . CrazySlick’s Twitch is still active, but he’s disabled his Twitter.
Adrianah Lee is still grappling with the aftermath of the situation, expressing that the whole debacle felt like one big gaslighting incident for her and her friends.
“It was an assault,” AdrianahLee said in a Sept. 19 stream. “Well, I guess, I don’t know… What is aggression defined [as]? [CrazySlick] didn’t rape me. He didn’t put a finger inside me or anything, but he touched my chest multiple times when asked to stop multiple times. Whether it’s harassment or assault is up to you. I guess it’s up to me. It’s something that makes me uncomfortable. It’s something that’s screwed up. This is something that should not happen to any woman.
Following these details resurfacing, Mizkif was suspended from One True King (OTK), the esports organization he co-founded with fellow streamers like Asmongold in October 2020. In a statement on his Twitter official, OTK said it was in progress. to “contact a third-party legal organization” to investigate Mizkif’s behavior and language.
“Mizkif has been placed on leave and will be leaving organizational duties pending the results of the investigation,” the organization said. “OTK strongly condemns sexual harassment, assault and fanaticism in all its forms.”
Mizkif also made a statement about it. In a TwitLonger posthe said CrazySlick “was told to quit [the] home as soon as possible,” and apologized to “everyone affected by the situation.” In a follow-up tweet, Mizkif clarified that CrazySlick had, in fact, sexually assaulted AdrianahLee.
