Valve’s new Steam Charts page consolidates all of its top games in one place

Valve has introduced a new Live Charts page on Steam.

As you might have already guessed from the title, this page has all of Steam’s best games in one place. It will replace the regular Steam stats that many of you may be familiar with.

Eurogamer Newscast: How damaging are video game leaks?

“Today we’re launching Steam Charts, a new section of Steam dedicated to displaying the most played and top selling games on Steam. Including real-time numbers,” Valve said in a statement (thanks, Kotaku).

“The Steam Charts page replaces Steam Stats as a one-stop snapshot of what’s popular on Steam, whether real-time, weekly, or even monthly. Steam Charts also pulls together numbers in more detail to allow for a more comprehensive analysis. image of the games that players are delighted with.”

For the curious, the top five selling games today (at the time of writing) are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Slime Rancher 2, Cyberpunk 2077 (which is enjoying a renaissance lately, something that has been attributed when its anime Edgerunners is released on Netflix), Fifa 23 and Apex Legends.

Meanwhile, the most played games are Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Apex Legends, PUBG: Battlegrounds and Lost Ark.

Are you OK? Looks like you saw a ghost…

There are also options to take a closer look at Steam’s weekly top sellers and top new releases of the month.

And what a week it was!

This new page certainly doesn’t show us anything “new”, but it’s nice to see this little refresh on the site. Could say, everything is full steam ahead from here. You can check out this new page for yourself here.
